No names.
No faces.

We did not choose a leader. We chose a mask.

The city scans every face, files every name, and sells what it learns. So we stopped showing ours. Stitched, grinning, horned, wired with LEDs: the mask is the only face we give them.

There are 4444 of us. No two are alike. All of us answer the same signal.
